A free demo of the software can be downloaded\u00a0 from the 1099 software download page<\/a>, you can also read more about printing 1096 from this link<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Please follow the steps below to print 1096 using our software:<\/p>\n (1)\u00a0This example assumes that you have already entered all your 1099 recipients inside the software and you entered their 1099 forms information.<\/p>\n (2) Open W2 Mate 2009 Software.<\/p>\n (3) Click on 1096 Form<\/a>.<\/p>\n (4) Click on “Select the type of 1099 form to be filed” button and select the 1099 form\u00a0 you are reporting: 1099-MISC, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV or 1099-R.<\/p>\n (5) W2 Mate will now generate a preview for the 1096 you want to print.<\/p>\n (6) It’s very important that you review field number 3 (total number of forms) and make sure it matches the total number of 1099 forms you are reporting. If you want to review box 5 and see how it’s calcualted you need to refer to form 1096 instructions.<\/p>\n (7) When you are ready to print 1096<\/a> click on the “Print” button. Make sure to feed the red-ink 1096 laser form into your printer.\u00a0 W2 Mate will print the data on the 1096 form and can also print a 1096 copy for your records.<\/p>\n
