Instead of submitting CDs or diskettes, employers can upload Forms W-2 and 1099R information using the Virginia Web Upload program. Businesses must first register to use the Web Upload program.<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\" style=\"position: absolute; left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px; overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: hidden;\">W-2 and 1099-R information must continue to meet the IRS Publication 1220 and the Social Security Administration Specifications (EFW2) for submitting W-2 and 1099R data electronically.
