Why are we not able to adjust the begin date of the payroll period?

The demo version of Payroll Mate, payroll check software, has all of the features of the standard full version except for the ability to back-date a check, the ability to create more than 5 employees, and changing the name of the sample company.  Those features are available in the full version.  You will be able to create up to 10 companies with 75 employees per company and backdate checks to the first of the year to recreate payroll.
