Use Form 1098, Mortgage Interest Statement, to report mortgage interest of $600 or more received by you during the year in the course of your trade or business from an individual, including a sole proprietor. Also use Form 1098 to report mortgage insurance premiums of $600 or more for the calendar year received by you from individuals in the course of your trade or business.
To start the 1098 Software Download process:
Click the Go To Download Page button.
Click Start Download button.
A window will pop to save or run the setup file.
Click on Save File to get started. This will download the file to your computer.
Look for the downloaded file in your Downloads folder. Double click on it to start the installation.
Please note that this download is for 2019 / 2020. Other years including 2017 and 2018 are also available.
