How to Create a New Payroll Check

This tutorial shows how to use our our payroll software to create a new payroll check, fill in pay period, pay date, income / deduction rates, sick vacation info and more.

  • Go > File > Open Company.
  • Select the company you want to open.
  • Click OK.
  • Go to Checks.
  • Click New.
  • Check Details box will show up.
  • Fill in the Begin and End date of the check. Double check the Pay Date and enter a new one if you need to.
  • Fill in rates of the check.
  • Fill in vacation or sick hours if any.
  • Click Recalculate.
  • Click OK.
  • The check created will show up along with a check preview.
