W2 Mate® does not limit the number of companies created inside the software for year-end reporting. Users can create an unlimited number of companies, employees, recipients and W-2/1099 forms. W2 Mate® may not limit users however this is not just for accountants, CPAS, and bookkeepers. This software is a perfect answer for all business owners. Quickly complete your annual W-2 and 1099 reporting. This tutorial shows the steps to create a new company inside W2 Mate® software.
1. Click "Company" from the menu bar
2. Select "New" from the menu list
3. Type in the New Company/Employer Name
4. Click "OK"
Note: You are now in the new company
5. Click on the "General Information" tab and complete all company/employer information
6. Click "Update" to save this information
7. Click "Yes" on the pop up to save data entered in all fields
8. Click on the "W3 Information" tab and complete all company/employer W3 information if applicable
9. Click "Update" to save this information
10. Click "Yes" on the pop up to save data entered in all fields
11. Click on the "1096 Information" tab and complete all company/employer information if applicable
12. Click "Update" to save this information
13. Click "Yes" on the pop up to save data entered in all fields
