How to Import 1099 Data Using Sage DacEasy

W2 Mate® has created an easy, robust mechanism to import 1099 data from Sage DacEasy. Use the importing wizard to import 1099 data and map it to 1099 and 1098 forms supported in W2 Mate® software. For a smooth and easy import process follow the instructions in this tutorial.

Step by Step Instructions

Make sure you have the correct Company open inside W2 Mate

Note: In order to use this feature you must purchase and enable W2 Mate Option #3 to import

1. Click "Import Data" from the top menu

2. Select "From Sage DacEasy (1099 Data)"

This will open the Sage DacEasy Import wizard

3. Read Message then Click "Next"

4. Read Steps then Click "Next"

5. Read Step 1, then Click "Next"

6. Read Step 2, Create and Save the 1099 data file from Sage DacEasy, then Click "Next""

7. Read Step 3, then Click "Browse" to select the file created from Sage DacEasy

8. Select type of 1099 form data from the drop down menu

9. Select the 1099 box you would like monetary amounts mapped to from the drop down menu

10. Click "Next"

11. Click "Next" to import

12. Click "Finish"
