W2 Mate® offers the ability for users to import 1099-DIV form data. Use this convenient feature to import general recipient data and to import the correct amounts into the correct fields on the 1099-DIV form for Dividends and Distributions. This feature saves time by eliminating the need to manually enter data for each recipient. This powerful tool is beneficial for companies of all sizes. Follow this easy tutorial for steps on how to import 1099-DIV form data into W2 Mate.
Make sure you have the correct Company open inside W2 Mate
Note: In order to use this feature you must purchase and enable W2 Mate Option #3 to import
1. Click "Import Data" from the top menu
2. Select "1099-DIV Forms (CSV-Excel)"
This will open the Import 1099-DIV Forms wizard
4. Click "Browse" to select the correct CSV data file to import
5. Map your fields
6. Click "Import"
7. Click "OK" on the Data import complete message
8. Click "Close"
