W2 Mate® allows users to import the data for 1099-PATR Forms. This allows you to import the general recipient information and to import data to the correct boxes for the 1099-PATR forms, Taxable Distributions Received From Cooperatives. This time-saving feature eliminates the process of the user manually entering data for each recipient. This W2 Mate® software tutorial shows the steps to import the 1099-PATR form data.
Make sure you have the correct Company open inside W2 Mate
Note: In order to use this feature you must purchase and enable W2 Mate Option #3 to import
1. Click "Import Data" from the top menu
2. Select "Other Forms (CSV-Excel)"
3. Select 1099-PATR Forms
This will open the Import 1099-PATR Forms wizard
4. Click "Browse" to select the correct CSV data file to import
5. Map your fields
6. Click "Import"
7. Click "OK" on the Data import complete message
8. Click "Close"
