W2 Mate® comes with a powerful import feature capable of mapping a CSV file (text file delimited with a comma or a tab) into 1099-R data format that can be processed by our software. W2 Mate® supports an unlimited number of companies, 1099-R recipients, and 1099-R forms making the import feature invaluable. Import all 1099-R data for each company. This tutorial provides the steps to import from a CSV file.
Make sure you have the correct Company open inside W2 Mate
Note: In order to use this feature you must purchase and enable W2 Mate Option #3 to import
1. Click "Import Data" from the top menu
2. Select "1099-R Forms (CSV-Excel)"
This will open the Import 1099-R Forms wizard
4. Click "Browse" to select the correct CSV data file to import
5. Map your fields
6. Click "Import"
7. Click "OK" on the Data import complete message
8. Click "Close"
