W2 Mate® supports W-2 Wage and Tax Statement importing. We give users a number of choices to import W2 data. One of the most popular choices is importing from a CSV file. Export your W-2 data to Excel/CSV. Using our Comma Separated Value file import utility easily map your file and import with one click. Your employees and their W-2 tax form data will be imported and ready to print or e-file. The tutorial below will walk you through the importing process.
Make sure you have the correct Company open inside W2 Mate
Note: In order to use this feature you must purchase and enable W2 Mate Option #3 to import
1. Click "Import Data" from the top menu
2. Select "W2 Forms (CSV-Excel)"
This will open the Import W2 Forms wizard
4. Click "Browse" to select the correct CSV data file to import
5. Map your fields
6. Click "Import"
7. Click "OK" on the Data import complete message
8. Click "Close"
