W2 Mate® supports corrected 1099 and 1098 Forms. We understand a situation may arise that requires you to make corrections to your 1098 and 1099 Forms. Our 1099/1098 printing software has a correction feature available. Simply check the box in the print options window to mark your 1099 and 1098 forms as corrected. Read the tutorial below for help printing 1099 and 1098 corrected tax forms.
Make sure you have the correct Company open inside W2 Mate
1. Click "1099 & 1098 Forms" from shortcuts
2. Click "Select" under Form Type
3. Select correct form type
4. Click "OK"
5. Click "Print"
6. Select the recipient(s) to print
7. Select Print option
Note: To print a Recipient/Payer copy on blank paper select the copy to print from the drop-down menu
To print data on a Pre-Printed form use the Print DATA Only selection for all copies of Pre-Printed forms
8. Check the box Mark as Corrected
9. Click "OK"
10. Select printer
11. Click "OK"
