W2 Mate® includes a convenient built in restore backup feature. Choose to restore a back-up file for a single company or back-up the whole database in seconds. Back-up data files saved to an external location helps to keep your data safe and makes it easy to move data from one machine to another. Simply follow the few easy steps below to restore a backup file.
**Single Company
1. Click "Tools" from the top menu bar
2. Select "Restore Company"
3. Select the correct backup file (single company backups are a .wmb type file)
4. Click "Yes"
**ALL (Multiple) Companies
1. Click "Tools" from the top menu bar
2. Select "Restore Multiple Companies"
3. Select the correct backup file (multiple companies’ backup are a .wb2 type file)
4. Click "OK"
Note: Note: It is highly recommended that you restart (close and re-open) your W2 Mate software after restoring companies
