Updating W-2s After a Change in Employee Status
A change in an employee's status, such as a rehire or a change from full-time to part-time, can affect their total annual wages and taxes. If the original W-2 did not reflect these changes, a W-2c must be filed to correct the reported amounts and ensure accurate tax records.

- Click on the W-2C Forms Tab and then click Add W-2C Form.

- In the "Previously reported" column, enter the amounts from the original W-2.
- In the "Correct information" column, enter the new, accurate amounts based on the change in status.
