Oklahoma 1099-NEC E-File Details
- You must upload your text 1099-NEC file via OkTap and it must conform to the IRS Publication 1220 specifications.
- You can’t send the 1099 file on a CD, floppy disk, or other magnetic media.
- A “K” record is required.
- To upload your file, make sure your browser is up to date or use Internet Explorer 11, if you have an earlier version you can set it to use compatibility view.
- Mozilla Firefox may not work correctly with the state OkTap software.
- Only text files with a file size of 200 MB or less are accepted.
- One file may be attached and submitted at a time.
- Only submit 1099’s that contain Oklahoma Information.
- State tax ID formatting: WTH1234567890 [first 3 digits must be WTH].
- Before E-Filing with Oklahoma, you need to enter data inside our software. 1099-NEC records can be typed manually or imported from Excel spreadsheet, QuickBooks, Sage 50, Dynamics GP and other accounting sources.
